The most perfect day I could ever ask for....
We can be happy together. We opened the blinds at night before we sleep so that when morning comes, the great big sun shines in to say Good Morning! Hop outta bed like a kid on christmas day. We brush our already stunning white teeth with sweet mint toothpaste. In the kitchen that smells like warm apple pie, we'd flip some fluffy pancakes and scrambled eggs. Down it all down with the freshly squeezed orange juice. I grab you and we'd strip off our white Hanes tee shirts and big cotton flannel pj pants. In the shower I can smell the pomegranate body wash as it foams on my skin. I'd close my eyes and let the water rinse away the day before and prepares me for the beautiful day today. Getting ready is no hassle because I air dry my hair outside. Run a quick brush over it and slip into a short white and blue sundress that flows with the breeze. Before we are about to open the door, you stop me and pull out a single daisy and place it in my hair before kissing me softly on my forehead. Holding hands with you we set off for the beach on our bicycles. Mine has a pink basket in front where I place ToFu (the mini-poodle) onto it and off we go. Up and down the hilly roads, we'd race like little children. Soon I can smell the sea salt in the air and hear the gulls flying above like little white clouds. Our feet sink into the warm soft sand to behold the most beautiful sight to see. Crashing upon the the shores is the crystal blue ocean. We swim around, laughing, screaming, shouting and splashing in this watery paradise of ours. After the days activities of saving a baby stingray that had been stranded on the shores, and getting 2 shades darker, we go out to the ice-cream parlor near by and order Strawberry cheesecake flavored ice-cream on a waffle cone dipped in chocolate. After lunch at a sandwich shop, we meet up with all our friends and set up a fire pit on the beach. Just good good times with good good friends and good good smores. I sit next to you and put on your big warm and ugly green sweater because the sun is setting. We all watch as it eases down the horizon and what seems like dips into the dark grey ocean. The entire sky is lit up with florescent red streaks. The sky above looks like a red velvet cake before it is entirely consumed by hundreds of thousands of silver dancing stars. I send a wish into the heavens and seal it with a kiss on your cheek. When it's time to go home, we are both so tired, the way back is spent sweet and silent. There is no need for words, just a soft utter of Good Night, I love you....as we drift off to sleep. Life is good. Life is so good.
