California Part 1
June 3-June 12 I spent a week and half over in California at Sam's place, so naturally, I thought I should touch up on it.
Well what can I say, except that it was the best week and a half I've ever had. When I am with him, everything is more beautiful. And the sun shines brighter, the food taste better, and being alive is Ecstasy.
Every gorgeous morning, we would spend it together. Every single meal, (which mostly consisted of amazing Mexican food) we would eat together, and every relaxing night, we would play games, lay about, or eat more food...together. If you see a pattern here, you are correct, Doing everything together = happy liza.
I am so proud of myself. I went on the Goliath, not once, but twice! I wish I could say that I rode all the rides worth riding in Six Flags, Magic Mountain. But every time I looked up at Superman, I wanted to run the opposite direction and die. So, Superman, unfortunately was not part of the day.
I really liked his sister's family. I don't think I've seen cuter kids than Olivia and Aidan. Nor more talkative and exhausting.
Saturday Night Live- "I'm a mother lover, you're a mother lover, I would be my honor to be your mother lover."
Also, "Go fix your mediocre face.." Can't go wrong with SNL
Korean BBQ was super super yummy. It even defy the laws of an vegetarian; his sister ate meat that night.
I can't believe the theory of medical cannabis made marijuana legal in the state of California. Unbelievable.
Sam's parents were actually not "scary beyond reason" as I thought they might be.
I liked his dad a lot. He is not all smiley and out there, but I think his character is far more relaxed and open than you might think at first impression.
Mrs. Yoon is also very nice. I think I felt more pressure to try and impress her with decency and innocence somehow. Reason being, she is a mother, which by natural instincts she is especially going to want the absolute best for Sam. These standards, I may fail in, but maybe... someday.
I do not want to be an intruder. I'll never beg to be accepted. So that is why I am pleased with how the events unfold though out my stay, and by the end of it all, I think I found a new places and people that I can hold dear to my heart. So in conclusion, I loved it. Thus ends California Part One.
