I'm home. It's different. New floors. New room. My good ol' dad decided to move all my belongings that was in my room (for over six years now), and just dump it all in my sister's room like he did with my baby Cookie. Just like that. Like what I would do with the trash, just take it down and dump it...in my sister's room all the same. lolls I joke.. Well either way,Thank you daddy. How kind of you. God Bless your soul.

Anyways, so I spent pretty much all day yesterday unloading everything into my new room which just so happens to be my parents' old room. And I admit, I quite enjoyed myself. I like that kind of stuff, you know? Moving into a new environment. It's nice. I feel like I can start over again.

I mean even though my old room meant a lot to me because it was so personal..I also haven't really lived in it since Jr. high years. So it was me- but just the really young me- Lord of the Ring posters, LOTR books, LOTR everything, Orlando Bloom over my bed- my collections of kid books (Little House in the Big Woods, Indian in the Cupboard..ect.) - my turtle collections -odds and ends of the awkward years.

This time I picked and carefully choose what I wanted in my new room and what I didn't need anymore. If I saved everything that meant a little something to me, I would have a room literally FILLED with just junk. So, I "weeded" out the trinkets of my childhood, place only those with significant meanings on the shelves. I have room in my room ... for things yet to come, more room to grow into the woman I envision myself to be. Yes...I said woman. It's time to grow up.
